THE RELATIONSHIP
BETWEEN PH LEVELS AND VIBRANT HEALTH
|
|
One of the principal benefits of consistently following
the Four Astonishingly Simple Steps to Vibrant Health is
the re-establishment and maintenance of normal PH levels
in the body. There is no question that abnormal PH
levels are a major contributor to disease and
unhealthiness:
-
It is incontrovertible that oxygen deficiency which
exists when the PH level of the body is abnormally
low is clearly implicated in a wide range of
cancers. All cancerous tissues are acidic, whereas
healthy tissues are alkaline.
-
Secondly, since abnormally low PH levels will result
in the body leeching its alkaline minerals (calcium,
magnesium and phosphorous), it can clearly be seen
that the principal cause of osteoporosis (porous
bones) is associated with the consumption of
excessive proteins and other acid forming foods,
including, in particular, soft drinks as illustrated
in the chart below.
-
Thirdly, as the PH of the blood goes more acid, the
fatty acids in the blood which are normally
electro-magnetically charged on the negative side
switch to positive and are automatically attracted
to and begin to stick to the walls of the arteries
which are electro-magnetically charged on the
negative side. The implications with respect to
cardiovascular disease are obvious.
This, of course, explains the principal reason why the
Four Astonishingly Simple Steps
recommends a plant based diet (almost all vegetables and
fruits are alkaline). These observations have given rise
to a variety of health treatments based upon increasing
the alkalinity of the tissues which include in addition
to a vegetarian diet, the drinking of fresh vegetable
juices (carrot juice being the very best) and dietary
supplementation with alkaline minerals such as calcium,
magnesium and potassium. These three alkaline minerals
are included in the Nutricology Buffered Vitamin C which
explains why that supplement is deemed to be the most
significant supplement one can take second only to Flax
Seed Oil.
A Healthy Diet Means Eating Foods That Fight Disease!
The following list indicates which foods are acidic and
alkaline. The Left side of the chart indicates acidic
foods, or foods that are more harmful. The right side of
the chart indicates alkaline foods, or foods that would
be most beneficial.
It is important to understand that we are not talking
about stomach acid or the pH of the stomach. We are
talking about the pH of the body's fluids and tissues,
which is an entirely different matter. |

which would be most beneficial. In the case of yeast/candida
- also no sugar of any kind, honey, syrup, or any
artificial sweetener. Stevia is permissible. Avoid
those things on the left side of the chart (acid).
