Conventional medicine was born approximately 140 years
ago and based upon the work of Dr Louis Pasteur and his
assumption that certain disorders and diseases were
caused by germs. This resulted in the theory that if you
could kill the germs, you could eliminate the “disease”.
Destruction of germs could be done by heat
(pasteurization) or by the introduction to people
affected with the “disease” of “watered down” infectious
agents in order to encourage them to create their own
antibody (defense) to protect themselves. Certainly,
there was some limited validity to this theory, and it
did help to reduce so called infectious diseases such as
small pox, measles, diphtheria, chicken pox, and polio
and other disease which are associated with exposure to
organisms.
But,
how many people do you know today who are dying of these
so called diseases of the nineteenth century? The same
theories and the same concepts which, to a limited
extent, effectively dealt with disorders caused by
organisms are obsolete and ineffective against the
diseases of the twenty-first century: heart disease,
cancer, diabetes and the so called “unexplained
illnesses” such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia,
multiple sclerosis, etc which increasingly plague modern
times with their nasty array of symptoms such as
fatigue, hair loss, weight accumulation, intermittent
depression, mood swings and lack of focus.
In contrast to the Infectious Disease or Germ Theory,
called the First Paradigm of Disease, major progress has
been made over the past 140 years by scientists who have
steadily moved up the ladder of understanding and
appreciation of the real causation of dysfunctionality
and of symptoms of unhealthiness to the point that we
are now at the Tenth Paradigm of Disease. Clearly,
anyone choosing health would want to be guided by
scientists and other experts in healthy living and not
limited to the one dimensional world of conventional
medicine. The following chart entitled the Tenth
Paradigm of Disease illustrates the progression and
underlying causes of human disease, culminating in the
recent breakthrough of Dr Martin Pall PH.D. and his
breathtaking work with respect to assisting in the
elimination of the previously “unexplained diseases”.

The Tenth Paradigm of Disease |
|
In the past 140 years, nine major paradigms of
human disease have been postulated. These
include:
1.
Infectious Diseases
2. Genetic Diseases
3. Nutritional Deficiency Diseases
4. Hormone Dysfunction Diseases
5. Allergic Diseases
6. Autoimmune Diseases
7. Somatic Mutation/Selection Diseases
(Cancer results from a Darwinian evolution-like
process of mutation and selection among cells of
the body.)
8. Ischemic Cardiovascular Diseases
9. Amyloid (including Prion) Diseases
(such
as Alzheimers and Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease)
Now
Martin Pall, Ph.D. has developed a TENTH
PARADIGM of human disease to explain previously
unexplained diseases. It also plays a role in
many of the other nine paradigms:
